چکیده
The operational and economic constraints suffered by amine solvents for CO2 removal have motivated the research on an alternative solvent with better performance cost-effectiveness. Amino acid salt (AAS) has been identified as interesting green solvent, to commercial solvents. present work evaluated physicochemical CO2-solubility properties of potassium L-cysteine (K-CYS), a naturally occurring amino-acid-based from natural gas. Its properties, including density, viscosity, refractive index, were measured at different temperatures ranging between 298.15 333.15 K concentration range 5 30 wt.%. Based experiment, all found decrease increasing temperature increase concentration. experiments also demonstrated significant reduction loading 2.4190 1.1802 mol CO2/mol K-CYS 10 wt% 313.15 20 bar (g).

Efficient Removal of Co2+ from Aqueous Solution by 3-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane Functionalized Montmorillonite with Enhanced Adsorption Capacity
To achieve a satisfactory removal efficiency of heavy metal ions from wastewater, silane-functionalized montmorillonite with abundant ligand-binding sites (-NH2) was synthesized as an efficient adsorbent. Ca-montmorillonite (Ca-Mt) was functionalized with 3-aminopropyl triethoxysilane (APTES) to obtain the APTES-Mt products (APTES1.0CEC-Mt, APTES2.0CEC-Mt, APTES3.0CEC-Mt, APTES4.0CEC-Mt) with e...

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...
Investigation into stability and interfacial properties of CO2 hydrate-aqueous fluid system
We applied the techniques of Molecular Dynamics (MD) to study the structural and dynamic properties of a stable interface between CO 2 hydrate and aqueous solution. The steady-state interface thickness was evaluated from a set of criteria, with the decay of hydrogen signature being the leading one. Applying the criteria has yielded an interface width of about 10 Å.
متن کاملSolvent Properties of Functionalized Ionic Liquids for Co2 Absorption
Ionic liquids can be used as solvents for gas absorption operations in order to improve the process economy and general efficiency of gas separations. This work investigates solvent properties of ionic liquids and compares them to amine solutions used for absorption of carbon dioxide (CO2). The CO2 solubility into imidazolium-based Room Temperature Ionic Liquids (RTILs) was measured at temperat...

An ab initio investigation on CO(2) homoclusters is done at MPWB1K6-31++G(2d) level of theory. Electrostatic guidelines are found to be useful for generating initial structures of (CO(2))(n) clusters. The ab initio minimum energy geometries of (CO(2))(n) with n=2-8 are T shaped, cyclic, trigonal pyramidal, tetragonal pyramidal, tetragonal bipyramidal, pentagonal bipyramidal, and pentagonal bipy...
